My all time favorite is books from Jim Corbett,s series. The best being Jungle Lore and then Man Eater of Kumaun, Man Eater of Rudraprayag, Temple Tiger and more Man Eater of Kumaun, My India and Tree Top. The Other writer being Norah Burke whose Jungle Picture is also a classical must read.

To me these are the books one must carry while camping and reading them beside a fire in the night is a different experience altogether.
