Are there any of you out there that live in Pennsylvania? I live near the Lehigh Valley, Allentown Pa. and would always like to hear from someone that is somewhat local. There don't seem to be many people around here that caught the carping bug, and it would be nice to know that I'm not the only one!!LOL. Anyone out there from the area, there is an awesome carp fishery at Ontalaunee Reservoir, in Leesport Pa, if you ever want to catch a monster this is the place. Low fishing pressure all year in all species, and the carp are unimaginable. I've seen fish that could top 50 60 lbs ...look like railroad ties. If you live near by drop a line..no pun intended.. I'll give you directions.Very Happy

Plenty of carp, and carp anglers in Pa. We'll be having a Fish-in in April most likely on the Schuylkill River. Check www.fishguys.org for more details on the fish-in, and big fish competition in Philadelphia county.

Hope you can join us!
Matt

That is pretty close to where I am , I have carped on the Cementon side of the Lehigh River, across from the baitshop there you cross the road and down to river by the dam. I've caught several commons there, nothing huge, but fish in the 10- 15 range twice last year.Surprised
