this fish was caught at greymist mere in
warrington,cheshire. it was a 24 hour session and was the
biggest fish out of 6 others that i had out of the lake that
day. all the fish fell to bottom baits on a short stiff rig
''well chuffed'' |

| First fish from Monument Lake |
This was my first fish caught from the Monument fishery,
caught on maggots and swimfeeder, fish weighed just under
20lbs, and was the biggest fish caught all day. |

this is my first 30lb carp smashing my previous pb of 21lb
it was caught at a private water in linconshire. the lake is
35 acres in size and the biggest known fish up till now was
26lb caught last year. tactics were haire rigged corn 2
yards off the rod tip under a bush with a pva bag of pellets |

| second biggest fish of my 4 day session |
this was my second biggest carp out of a 4 day fishing
session which also produced my first 30lber. tactics were a
single 15mm dynermites monster crab boilie on a 4inch stiff
link cast to a sunken tree off an island with 20 or so
freebies pulted over the top |

not exctly a fish to be ashamed as being the smallest carp
of the session weighing in at 21lb. tactics were the same as
them used to catch the 28lb fish of the session |
