With the temps forecast this week the chances are it will still be froze solid.

Its not frozen that surprises me as the balancing lake over the road was frozen solid on Friday and low temps forecast for tonight.

I dont know of any waters in Telford which are ice free at the moment. Boldings may be as he runs aerators.

I havnt been to Bayliss pools for many years.
Is access to the pool still poor?
Does it still contain those big ghosties?
Does it still attract the idiots who think its ok to cast lines into your space?
Does it still contain a good head of 20s?

In fairness it's better than it was but still far to busy for me. Neil the bailiff has pretty well sorted the litter problem out and will ban anybody he catches leaving litter.

Fished it numerous times and never had any trouble other than the fact it gets busy and its all a bit tight and cramped with people casting to close at times.

Few rats an all to keep ya company at night time!

Hi peeps.
fished this place a few times the last few yrs and had some cracking fish out of there including a 23,7 ghostie.
Can honestly say that ive never had a bad fish out there and the owner has started to pull his finger out and start keeping it tidy.
Also a few yrs ago i heard that there was some tackle thefts down there but again ive never seen it and never had any trouble.
It does get busy on a weekend and thats y i tend to fish it mid week.
also its a pretty good winter place to fish.
Thats just my experience on there.
regards john
