    I just cant chod!

Looks like they all work out about the same price, give or take a few pennies. The ESP Stiff Rig appears to be slightly cheaper than the Korda Mouthtrap, but their hooks are slightly more expensive. The Korda ready mades are actually cheaper than the ESP ones, and the Gardner ready mades are more expensive than both. I'd imagine a bit of shopping around might find better prices for one or the other, but in each case the difference between ready mades and diy is negligible. So, anyone who struggles to tie these (and they are a pesky little blighter to tie), with a view to saving money,

    Carp tips please

Hi I am in need of some tips for catching big carp, my biggest is 19lb 6oz which I caught on 20mm pellet but I think that was just fluke as I haven't caught anything else not even a baby on them and also boilies I have had no luck with what so ever, all hints and tips would be greatly received, many thanks fishing friends.

Can't decide where to fish live in south Leisestershire so Makins is not far but the first place i ever carp fished was Barston So can't decide. Where would you fish or are there better places within the same area.

    PVA bags? Good Vs Bad

Personally iv never had a problem with the korda bags, also the esp ones are good. From what iv heard from lads at work the PVA company as stated above do some quality gear aswell.

  16. I did say it wasn't an exact science. If all the lead is dirty I simply use a lead with a bigger surface area to stop the penetration and a 2' hook length. Simples.

  17. Rig foam can be useful in situations such as this. Soak it in glug of your choice, something for next to nothing. Ian

  18. A computer aided design program... If you stick in your specification requirements; wind resistance, number of doors, engine size, mpg etc, then it is likely Ford, SEAT, VW, Skoda etc will all have cars that basically look the same, only the bonnet badge being different. Strange thing about 'engineered' enzymes, they can break down various proteins, best at specific temperatures or even ph values, yet natural enzymes all work at various temperatures, ph values. So does an engineered enzyme work best at low temperature (say winter) or in the summer? Do the enzymes we create to b

    Only my opinion

You can always tell where Aussie bogans fish as it's usually full of trash, empty cans of corn, discarded beer bottles, empty tackle packets etc.. Sometimes if you're lucky, you come across the remains of a fire, where the idiots believed cans and bottles would magically burn away. I once had a huge family turn up next to me, open up packets for rods and reels they'd just bought from K Mart, open up their cans of corn....fish for a couple of hours and walk off leaving all their rubbish laying around....there was a bin only 40ft away.

  23. I'm familiar with the water Luke fishes and I know Luke well enough to know that he would not make those remarks without knowing for certain of the culprits. Having fished in Australia now for 13 years I'd say the worst issue is having to deal with other peoples litter, that and ignorance, there seems to be zero education about not littering, indeed some people seem to revel in it, at my local water when the locals pack up for the day at dusk its not uncommon to see them chuck all their rubbish in the lake! Its no wonder that so many waters where I live are being locked up and no fishing
