Certainly agree with that bud. Also think that most waters that have this rule don't even know why they have it lol.....

Vik R.e your fetish for shrink wrap I think with Free Spirit if you buy through someone like Johnson Ross you can have them made with whatever handles you like. I speak as someone who has a bit of a cork thing going on (but I am seeking help lol). Cheers Ian

    2.75 or 3lb TC?

Hi Vik In all honesty the t.c doesn't appear to be as important as the action. As you know I use the Free Spirit X.S which is a 3.25 t.c but they have a very through action which makes them a delight to play fish on and suit quite a wide range of waters. I have tried some fast action 3 lb rods that felt like I could cast to the moon but would probably be more at home on a snooker table. Its a difficult thing to find what suits you best but the only thing I do know is don't by anything you haven't felt. Cheers Ian

  9. SO as has been mentioned on here on the 18th June, I did 32hrs on estate lake to kick off my season on there. First official session as a member and I managed to bag 13 carp to 26.02lb. Overall I had 4x 20lbs, 3x 19lbs and the rest high doubles with the smallest being 10lb (guesstimate). Unfortunately my camera battery died but I managed a couple of pics on it and had some visitors do some pics on my phone. Selection of this fish below. There was one very nice fish I had which didn't get photographed so I hope I catch it again and get some pics.
