  1. Cheers mate 👍 Did Sunday on Pitsford Res Perch and Pike fishing, had a small perch on the drop shot which was a first for me from a boat and I missed a good take from a Pike on a big rubber imitation lure, again another first, need a stiffer rod. The guy I was with had a 3.4 Perch which to me was insane - blew me away. On Rutland next week - hopefully a predator catch report to come - fingers crossed, I'll get the hang of this in about 10 years lol

  3. I seem to recall Frank Warwick talking about this, he was lobbing singles much further than anyone else could and Pretending to be baiting up with normal boilies so no one sussed it

  5. I think it was Jerry Hammond who messed up one of his mixes before and it was either doubled or trebled the recommended flavour levels and had his best hit ever on those hookbaits. I can check out his book again to make sure if needed lol

  6. Firstly the misshapen baits, you're likely boiling on too fast a boil. It only needs to be on a light simmer. I do 14mm baits for 3 mins on a light simmer and it never damages them. Secondly the smell, it will wash out on cooking, maybe more so if I am correct with the above issue. (Too high and it also knocks out the dye a bit too FYI). 10ml per 1 egg is all I use and I can get it coming through after 24hrs in the lake still. I air dry for a week, put them in a bag, coat them with flavour, air dry again for a week and repeat once more. I'll then pot them up and add a couple sprays of fl

  8. Just got back from 48 hours down at Bluebell lakes. I got off to a flyer with 7 takes 4 landed in the first afternoon, thank goodness I had a few bags ready - with mild temps and rain all day I managed to drop in the right place at the right time and get a few bites before it switched back off. The following day I was ready for the afternoon carnage but nothing happened, in hindsight the fish had probably moved down the other end with the weather, being the complete opposite to the day before- clear skies and cool temps. Guess there will be some bangers out this weekend.

  9. No not at all, fairly good packaging, have you had one delivered damaged ? Mine was delivered by Royal Mail......sadly the wife has stolen it off me and said I can have it back at Christmas... I didn’t argue though as she purchased 3 greys rods and 3 shimano ultrgra 1400’s that were supposed to be for Christmas and I have been using them for the last few weeks ( I think she forgot they were a Xmas pressie 😁
