  1. The bottom pic is my husqvana fe 501 (500 cc single) which is one hell of a beast, I also have a husqvana fe 350 ( same bike but 350 cc ) it is a bit lighter and it also demands a bit of respect when riding off road if you don’t want to go over the back.. both husqvana’s are enduro bikes that somehow ( loophole in the law ) you can get registered for the road.. here is the 350.. alongside my mates husky 701 I recon now I am sixty, I should settle down and stop all this off-road nonsense πŸ˜‰, but there again you only live once..

  2. I'm 62 and I still have the urge to ride a bike... albeit a tad slower these days... hence the Thunderbird going... it's a big old girl at 235kg dry and my back and knees are crying enough. The Bobber is lower, slower and looks gorgeous, not only that, but the wife said she'll be having a bash on it too (she maxed my GSXR750 out before I did🀣) the insurance for both of us is £92 a year... happy daze

    Best hooklink material

seaguar abrazx fluorocarbon fishing line Not sure if this available in Europe yet. I bought some off ebay from a US supplier. Postage was not cheap but it still worked out cheaper than other Seaguar fluorocarbon lines here. I have been using the 15lb in rocky swims for barbel, it's proving very tough and has taken a few carp between 14lb - 19lb as well. The braid hook length materials do not work for me here on the river Lot, France. Tried a few now, but few bites and no fish!

  6. The guy with the 650 for sale has just stepped up to a 1100 Ninja there's only one style of riding that works on those bikes the first time you go outside that it will throw you off, same for the Yamaha R1, me I once suffered a tank slapper on a Malaguti monkey bike lol.

One thing I will say about the advantage of DSLR is the option for a big zoom lens, I use a 28-300mm zoom,

Samsung phones are amazing for indoor shots, I go to a lot of gigs and my mates get far better shots than me, although the new apple phones are brilliant cameras now, especially with the editing software and various apps you can get amazing results. Some of mine are with a canon DSLR but most are just iPhone

  15. 18 years ago I treated myself to a 1994 Urban Tiger Fireblade. Then I had a full, rolling road, Dynojet carb conversion carried out. A fast bike became even faster. Whenever I ride the bike, in my mind, I'm at least a demi-god. This evening I tuned into ITV4 and watched todays highlights from the Isle of Man 2018 TT races. Demi-god? No. Elderly chap on a motorcycle which far exceeds the riders abilities? Sadly , yes...……... Ian

  16. I think a lot of the problem with braid hook links is due to crayfish, and for you poisson chat fiddling with rigs.

  17. Some orange blaze fluorescent enamel to recolour the tops of some bright yellow marker floats that I struggle to see and a new pair of TFG Explorer boots after my 5year old pair sole came free while walking round Alton Water today. Essential oils, make sure you get 100% quality, many aromatherapy oils are cut with a carrier. Cut with olive or coconut oil is OK, but some of the oils use baby oil type carriers

  38. She was well looked after when I got her. I have spent a fair bit on her though, if the wife new how much I spent on the bike and fishing she'd kill me. πŸ˜‚ Saying that she costs a hell of a lot more. 😁😁

  41. Here's my pride and joy, she is an old lady now 26yrs old and still runs like a good un.😍 I went without a bike for about 15yrs and in 2013 the wife treated me to a trip to the tt for my 50th and when we got back I just had to go I get myself another bike. I always watch the tt on TV but you just don't get the real speeds, on some parts of the course we were sat 3ft away from a bike passing you at 170mph it unreal there's nothing like it, it's amazing. 😊
