Welcome to the forum, I do it sometimes.  We get some people registering on here just to post links and rack up youtube views, so I'm not going to click on it until you've been around for awhile.

All of my carp fishing is done on simple running rigs. The only thing I vary is the length of the rig itself, or the amount of lead I'm using.
No snags/silt I'll use a shorter length and a slightly heavier lead, if I'm fishing in silt I'll lengthen my rig a little and use as light a lead as I can to stop it sinking in.
Don't over complicate things, use a good quality bait and find the fish. You'll catch.

Welcome to the forum. I've not been on here long but it's a great place to get honest feedback and advice. As said keep things simple, simple running rig with knotless knot has always caught many fish and always will. Don't get too bogged down with anything more advanced than that until your fishing changes.

With any set up, I'd start slack in the margins, the further I cast out the tighter I'd have my lines, as a general rule.

Just bear in mind that the shop will be trying to make a sale so decide which set up suits your fishing before asking advice

I'll pop it up after the trip mate. Let's say it's a little identifiable from the video as to the area as you can see far bank features. Hoping it's not as active in the coming days as any decent angler walking past would get a rig close by.

The Snagsafe Lead Clip is a lead/feeder clip for use with a running leger set-up. It features a large bore hole to allow the line to run freely offering minimum resistance to a taking fish. The main design feature is the actual clip itself which can spring open under pressure to release the lead/feeder should it become snagged. A length of silicon tube supplied on the clip is used to hold the lead in place to minimise tangles. Available in two sizes the small clip requires a straight pull of approximately 4lbs pressure to release so we advise a minimum of 5lb breaking strain line when using this product. The large clip requires a straight pull of 8-9lbs pressure to release so advise a minium of 12lb line.
