From what I've been able to gather the entire Okanagan valley is full of them. Apparently they came in around 1912 from Wa. I'm going out in a couple of weeks but I'll only be able to try the spots around Oliver; Tuc-L-Nuit, Vaseux, south end of Okanagan Lake, the river south of Oliver (which I was told about a year ago, but didn't have my car when I was there), and Osoyoos Lake. I'll probably do a little trout fishing at Yellow Lake and up at Sawmill Lake while I'm there. Access is going to be tough in some of these places and I don't know how good the fishing will be with no pre-baiting. Since I'll likely be going there a few times this year I plan to buy the annual license. I've been travelling to the Okanagan since I was a baby and done quite a bit of fishing there but never for carp!
