dougmoon 38
shimano do a 4000 and a 2500 baitrunner should be small enough
garysj01 19
How small do you want them, shimano do some, i think they are small game reels

studley 0
Shakespeare omni reels Hi gary, have you personally used the Shakespeare reels? I bought some for my partner and they were dreadful!! Every time the line would pinch under the bail arm! Bin! Ultimate 5000 reels , freespool was pants! Bin, didnt even bother putting them on e. Bay! She now use my old shimano 2500m reel and she loves it!
muscle20 47
the daiwa regals are ok
blanksalot 260
wychwood signature, my lads used these for over a year now with no problems.
welder 1,186
the daiwa regals are ok Better than ok in my opinion. I have 4 Diawa Regal Plus 4000BRi's and for all aspects of fishing they're impressive. Compact, smooth and excellent line lay. Oh, and affordable. Ian
bazlaa1 3
you wont go far wrong with shimano 4010 aero's superb reels

garysj01 19
While we are on the subject of reels, does anyone else find the drags on the wychwood exorcists a bit spongy?
stewpot 3
Have a look at the Pflueger Infusion (7640SS) - around £50.00. Very popular with the bass anglers down here and I've used for carp to 20lb with no problems at all
brighton_carper 11
I've got the Diawa Regal Plus 3500s, and I would definitely recommend them. Small, light but pretty solid.
jules007 13
thanks for the suggestions, will look at the regal`s
muscle20 47
the reason i said "ok" is because ive only got the regal (3bearings). now also bought some regal "plus" 5000 and these although bigger are super smooth ( 6 bearings ) . so would go for the regal plus 3500 or i think the newer model is the regal z
will1962 5
I use 2 of these [/url]http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Mitchell-Avorunner-V2-3500-/130717193291?pt=UK_SportingGoods_FishingAcces_RL&hash=item1e6f5a144b had them a couple of seasons now great little reel for the price. mattgroves 3
Had S'pere Omni, an Okuma something and Daiwa Regals, I would have to say the Daiwa's were the best by far. These are the old Regal Z 4550 if I remember correctly (not the new shape/size Regal) great bit of kit, my father in law still uses his, the free-spool ratchet sound is quite loud (in some respects a good thing as you can do a day session without alarms!) and for small water work I couldn't really fault them (still have a pair as my spares).
