One of the two things putting me off going back over there.

Can I ask what the other thing is Vik.

I was thinking about going back there sometime myself but I am unsure as the stock is still a little unknown.

Cheers

Ian

I wasn't happy with what they might leave on my fingers.

100% mate, I stopped using mozzie coils for this very reason. They worked really well but everything stank of them, including me and my brolly etc. I was so worried about my bait and rigs that I decided I'd rather get bitten lol....

The unknown stock! I've seen the pics of the bigger fish and know one of the lads to have most of them. But that was a few years ago now. Not seen any recent ones, or heard anything either. Just the small stockies. The big pit doesn't float my boat. Prefer the horseshoe and suntrap.

Mate gave me a few k all soaked on tigernut & cell liquid, not too sure about them. Anyone soak em, tried it a few times but just the same old blank.

Let me know what you think of them please Ghost hunter!! I've been looking at them, very interesting, but not yet convinced they're not a waste of time lol.....

Will do bud, the idea does look interesting. I like to use uncoated braid & it can tangle easy, so that'll be the test for them.

Brought:

Hook kickers

Bait screws

A sad day on Sunday when my old faithful original greys prodigy's gave up the ghost. Therefore after much deliberation I've opted for 2 Nash dwarf rods 10 foot 2.75tc, I'm trying to cut down on gear and with the view I'd like to get everything in the boot of the car for a day session I've also purchased a drennan super specialist landing net pole that's collapsible.

Nice one mate.

I haven't used big pit reels before so wasn't sure which size to go for the 65 or 75.

I've only had BR up 6000 size before.

So if you could give me an idea on the size of them as well that would be great.

Just ordered one of these....
http://www.ericsangling.co.uk/index.php/shimano-reel-mega-deals/shimano-medium-baitrunner-longcast-xta.html

At the price, I thought it would be silly not to.

And got a further 10% discount when I added it to the basket, so only £85.99 inc. delivery.

Plus, the Missus is still in bed and it's being delivered to work, so she'll never know.

Just got to sell my three Emcasts to afford the other two now.

Damn these light mornings and my itchy "buy it now" finger!!

:shock::shock::shock:
