Thats true...but always used 2 and thought of 3 out quite dawnts me 😨

Depends how prolific the fishing is. If you're hoping for just one bite a session then 3 rods increasss your chances. You deal with it the same as with two rods. If you're expecting 4/5 runs a session then maybe 2 rods is okay.

Personally, I got used to it very quickly. You just need to plan your swim out. How you'll cast, how you'll land fish, where the rods will go, where the line angles are. But then again you should be doing that anyway. Think it through beforehand so you're never caught out, you hit a problem and you deal with it because you knew what you'd do in the scenario already. It's easy to panic when you have a fish on so you need to be prepared.

You still get the nightmare. I had a fish go through my other two lines and pull them in to the lily roots. I just loosened the clutches on them off and landed the fish and then dealt with the mess once the fish was in the net. Recasting 3 rods is better than losing a fish.

A week on Redmire. My mate managed to get through last week so the 3 of us have the last week in September

New sleep system - going down well!  Room for 2 no arguments!

Gorgeous... sounds like Rolling Thunder

There are historic probs on most marques, my own preference, the Volvo, has electrical faults, its best to know what you are likely to hit before you buy, Zafira has been described as a mobile bar b que, owing to engine fires, research what you buy, highly recommend the ex police vehicle websites, high mileage, cheap price, high maintence, good buys, the Cmax, is notorious, central locking, gearbox, brakes, ford rubbish.

I must admit from the switch around 1994/5 (M plates?) Ford and Vauxhall totally turned me off. I have never liked the modern Mondeo, Focus, Vectra and other ranges compared to the Sierra, Escort, Astra and Cavalier versions pre 1994.

I have driven them, and they are not a patch on any of their older models, to drive, not fun, no feeling, no heart.

Give me a German VW, Audi or the others and I am much happier. While Skoda had a joke reputation years ago, now I would choose one over any Ford or Vauxhall.

Too late.

Ordered the c max grand.

Ooooh bad luck.... my C-Max although it drove well, was nippy and frugal, was fragile... it had to have in 5 years of ownership...  a DMF  and clutch, alternator, Turbo intercooler  & starter motor, always something going wrong... Then 2 years ago the original gearbox literally dumped itself and the replacement did the same on New Years Day... its going to the great scrapyard in the sky... a shame as it was a very comfy car (full leather interior and loads of toys)

I got given 50 quids woth of vouchers for xmas and went into the tackle shop local to me to try and spend them and couldnt find a single thing to buy with them

in the end i blew them on 3 buckets of prepared particle and 2 tins of prepared tigers

Thats what i would have done...spent it all on this years bait...im mainly sticking to White Choc & Coconut Cream Glugged in Coconut Glugg as this did me well all last season 🎣🎣

But so did Nash Candy Nut Crunch (identical to Sticky's Manilla) glugged in Manilla liquid 🎣🎣

I'll only have it for 3 years so hopefully won't be too bad.

I went for it mainly because of the sliding doors.

I have to lift my daughter in and out of the car so should make it a bit easier , also the seats are a bit higher than my car at the moment so will take the pressure off my back.

@Dannygooner Well if it’s any use to you mate I use the ultegra 5500xtd’s on my 10ft scopes and they are very well balanced with the rod.

with my 6ft scope sawn offs I have nash bp4’s (not used yet) although can vouch for them as have a bp4 on the rod that these 6fts replace ( a 6ft h-gun dwarf)
