Sent from my SM-J500FN using Tapatalk Years ago that would be an easy question to answer but nowdays some brolly systems look just like a bivvy, So it depends if your just using a brolly with say some storm sides or a system ? Sent from my SM-J500FN using Tapatalk If its their fox royale 60 system then they might try and push it as a bivvy, It's not but might be worth dropping them an email if thats possible as i'd be right narked if they asked me to take it down
yonny 4,575
Surely a no bivvy rule is intended to mean no shelters?

yonny 4,575
I asked he said a brolly was fine I don't get it dude. Why would bivvys be banned but not brollys? What is the intent of the rule? Great shots btw emmcee!

yonny 4,575
Rules are rules i did not make them up... not going to question the logic behind it . Why not fella? Aint you interested to hear the reasoning behind such an odd rule? I know I would be. I can't get my head round it, the only reason I could think bivvys might be banned is because they're unsightly maybe? What's the difference with a brolly? Just makes no sense. David_Ridgers 185
I know its daft but nothing i can do to fight it . If it helps its in an area of scientific interest . Sent from my SM-J500FN using Tapatalk
yonny 4,575
I know its daft but nothing i can do to fight it . Lol, I'm not suggesting you fight it bud. Rules are rules, they are what they are. I'm just saying if it was on my water I'd be asking the question, simply out of interest. I can't get my head round it. David_Ridgers 185
Same at Emberton Park Yonny,it is not allowed to erect camping gear, as they see it as getting around paying for a tent pitch, a fishing umbrella for keeping the rain off, no problem, they banned night fishing 3 years ago, thanks to the antics of a few idiots.Ahh but we can night fish here just no bivvys are allowed . Its not the club its the sight owners (golf club ) Sent from my SM-J500FN using Tapatalk
dayvid 1,352
I personally wouldnt rock the boat , No bivvies but brollys ok , if they thought long and hard about it brollys would be banned to ,i guess. David_Ridgers
