Crucian Pollution

Recommended Posts

SO ts been known about for a very long time and for a lot of years it was thought that it was two different fish.

It was  thought that the deep bodied crusian living in decent quality water etc., were crucian and the fish found in tiny stagnant ponds were a similar fish but not crucian.

We now know they are one and the same just one is naturally stunted to put less pressure on its surroundings, they can survive in ponds that are totally frozen for months, to look at they look like a crucian roach or chub hybrid in shape.
