Any other motorcyclists on here?

18 years ago I treated myself to a 1994 Urban Tiger Fireblade. Then I had a full, rolling road, Dynojet carb conversion carried out. A fast bike became even faster. Whenever I ride the bike, in my mind, I'm at least a demi-god.

This evening I tuned into ITV4 and watched todays highlights from the Isle of Man 2018 TT races. Demi-god? No. Elderly chap on a motorcycle which far exceeds the riders abilities? Sadly , yes...……...

I too watched the tt highlights.....those chaps are just something else!

Ive always loved bikes but never had one on the road out of respect for my dad. He lost two very good friends in bike accidents and from that point forward it was a case of “my house my rules, you are not having a bike” and I think that just continued when I left home, I lost my dad a couple of years ago so I may in the future bite the bullet and go for it.

Here's my pride and joy, she is an old lady now 26yrs old and still runs like a good un.😍20150314_173710.thumb.jpg.9c87c3c0679b2428569d0c06791c0360.jpg

I went without a bike for about 15yrs and in 2013 the wife treated me to a trip to the tt for my 50th and when we got back I just had to go I get myself another bike.

I always watch the tt on TV but you just don't get the real speeds, on some parts of the course we were sat 3ft away from a bike passing you at 170mph it unreal there's nothing like it, it's amazing. 😊

I love the urban tiger colours, I'd say it's my favourite blade colour. 😎

You never know I might treat myself when I retire if I'm still up to riding one 😀

It's a pity where not more local to each other we could of gone for a blast.

Have you got any pictures to share with us mate.

She was well looked after when I got her.

I have spent a fair bit on her though, if the wife new how much I spent on the bike and fishing she'd kill me. 😂

Saying that she costs a hell of a lot more. 😁😁

My Dads always been biker & have many memories of holding onto the back of his Honda cbr for dear life....    think his was a 500 .

Funny I've never gone down that route myself... perhaps it scared me enough for life lol .

I also have been a passenger on a fireblade ( friends dad this time ) oh my God never again

Mental is the only word

I'm not exactly the most technical person but I shall try Ian.

The way I do it is from my phone, where you right your message at the bottom of the page were it says click to choose file I just click on that and then choose the gallery from my phone and then choose the photo you want and down load it.

Once it's down loaded click on the photo and it will attach to your message.

Some one else might be able to explain it better, like I say I'm not very technical. 😀

Ian as you know my biking days are well past.

The Isle of Man bit bought back memories as that is another place I was evicted from in 1982, never to return.
