This is kind of my area , the deeper you get into this the more you understand that there is nothing you can do to change things , Corbyn gave them the fright of their lives and they have made sure it can't be repeated , the only chance is the formation of another political party but the propaganda against them would be relentless , things could change when the Chinese economy surpasses that of the USA which isn't too far off now as the green back is dumped for the yuan and the markets around the world plummet as our debt levels become unsustainable , inflation is far higher than has been admitted for years causing hardship as wages don't buy what they used too and when the inevitable happens and interests rates go up , that's when it goes boobies up !

Corporate power and the odd oligarch here and there have created the perfect environment for themselves , by corrupting our political system , it has to be completely obvious to everyone now !

But we can still go fishing !

Its utter nonsense isn't it. I managed to fill up on sunday morning only for my Van's engine management light come on as I drove home🙄. It's been in the garage since, hopefully get it back for the weekend but it's not a cheap fix 😢

My engine management light came up 2months ago as I arrived at the lake. I could hear the misfire. Did the 2nights and drove into work on the Monday morning. Phoned the garage mid morning, ran it over during my break and left them to repair it overnight, so had to catch the train home from work and back next morning. £180 to sort out the leads including labour.

As for petrol I tend to fill up three times a month when I do my grocery shopping, it is rare for me to get below 1/4 a tank. Did my shopping on payday last week, straight into the supermarket fuel station, filled up no problem, no queues.

The garage was out of super unleaded and diesel though.

The greatest tragedy for this country was Corbyn, it just showed me how screwed up things had become, he is a man that could've made this country much better, Starmer is just a tory support leader, he won't rock any boat, but the Pandora files on the week of the tory guff show is quite telling, its like the media starting to turn away from the tories, how long before some real stories start to appear, still I won't feel bad the tories deserve all they get and hopefully for some it will be prison,

Still , sadly , for a lot of people , if it's not been mentioned in the press or media then it's not true or not happened , people need to start thinking for themselves and stop reading papers like the express  sun and bbc , certain things only make the media when they are blatantly obvious and sometimes not even then , and as we have seen over the last week with regards to the fuel crisis , people are very easily led !

Yeah, I get scared sometimes when I think of the damage being done now, what the hell is it going to be like for our kids when they grow up, it looks bleak right now

So true

Corbyn sadly got splinters from sitting on the fence with brexit.

I fear you're right, the communist way of life seems to be our destiny

Sorry , i'm a capitalist at heart , democratic socialism is what i aspire to ,like what the nordic countries have succeeded in achieving ,a great standard of living with more state ownership of national assets like our nhs , rail post and our energy companies , communism has never succeeded ,might of been different if the USA had left them alone but to me  it just takes the incentive to achieve away ! these socialist nordic countries achieve everything that is important to me , good pensions , more than double that of the uk state pension , better schools and year on year they are the east corrupt countries in the world with  good health care , the UK is going down hill , our capitalist system needs resetting , by spring i'm sure that the majority will agree with me , if they don't already

I regularly have discussions 😂 with people on fb, today I got accused of being a lefty fisherman, and accused of being a socialist amongst other things 🙄, I think I am a socialist I just want to see people treated better and more equally, I would also like to see better education for all, not just for those with rich parents, housing should be affordable and for all, not bought as an asset or investment, less working days, better wages for all, Boris Johnson and the corrupt tories to face prison and we would all live happily ever after 🤔

Not too much to ask is it?
